Policy In Action

Transforming Irish Business By Design

During this year’s Innovation Dublin Festival, we’ll be running a half-day Business Support Canvas workshop.

If we were able to realise a €6,000,000 return on a €250,000 investment in design would we do it? What exactly would we do to help 50 Dublin area companies recognise the best opportunities for their businesses to grow and succeed?

Attendees will create a customised programme outline for Irish businesses based on international best practice of design support programmes.

Who should attend?

  • Policy makers interested in practical supports for business
  • Development advisors from support agencies
  • Strategic designers and design thinkers
  • Academics looking at design management
  • Anyone interested in practical design-led business support

What will we learn?

  • What constitutes a design support programme
  • Best practices of global design support programmes
  • The tangible numbers that support the impact of design in business programmes
  • The application of the Business Support Canvas for programme development

Where and when?

Wood Quay Venue, Dublin City Council, Dublin 8.
Thursday, 27th October. 9:30AM-12:45PM.
