Design support programmes are one of the ways of putting policy into action and responding to the policymakers call for businesses and public services to innovate and change. For the taxpayer, new projects coming to market generate significant economic impact, and participating businesses are left with a legacy of continuing innovation and creative management processes.

The Business Support Canvas and related materials are made available under Creative Commons license. The authors feel that tools & approaches should be shared so we can continue to evolve business support. The hope is to provide a framework so we can work towards common language, better programme development and reliable evaluation.
